We've done a few KM's the last few days, we started off in Albi then made our way, after a very nice lunch, to Millau to view the bridge, then back to Rodez to say a fond farewell to D&B then up to Chardonnay. We didn't take into account the distance though ! Doris wasn't programmed with the right time, so it was 1230 before we got there. Thankfully our hosts were waiting with large glasses of the Scotch stuff to greet us...!! A good couple of days of wine tasting - what else, eating and being sociable as well as a little working. Then we headed off to Coisse and had 24 hours with the Sheldons and are now back in our own little paradise......Liver is taking a rest now.

A lovely day out and a nice lunch - got to keep the workers happy! Nice and sunny and then off to the wine region to taste a drop or two.

A wonderful day today, so it was off to the market and the usual shopping and meeting up with familiar faces, drinking coffee and chatting.





A certain person wanted to go to a Brocante, so off we went to Caussade to view the rubbish on offer.....!! Back for lunch and back to WORK.





Lots done today, runway almost laid and lots of weeding done. A good day and a rare treat of a night out at the cinema.



All hands on deck tomorrow, so hoping for the sun again.

So, once the trench was dug, the cables laid and the trench filled, the men and their machine set too and started on the "runaway" as it's being called.


Chic the truck was called into service and away they went.





Meanwhile, over in the Gite, B was painting the wall and one coat is now done - next will be applied on Monday.





So they have all earned their supper...!

The Boys Big Toys Weekend part 2

Girls are, needless to say, keeping well out of the way. Beryl is painting the Gite wall and I'm weeding and keeping a check on the progress.

Weather is hit and miss, thankfully more hit than miss, and we've dodged the rain so far.
